Western Australian Repealed RegulationsThis legislation has been repealed.
(1) A nurse should
ensure that the client’s health and safety is not adversely affected by
a matter relating to the nurse’s personal health and which is known to
the nurse.
(2) If a nurse becomes
aware that nursing care being provided, or about to be provided, to a
client —
(a) is
inadequate or inappropriate; or
(b) may
adversely affect the rights, health or safety of the client,
the nurse should make
the situation known to a person who has the authority to make a further
assessment of the care provided or to be provided and who can take steps to
rectify the situation.
