In 2002 and early March 2003 the following changes to the Council’s membership occurred:

• the appointment of

– Mr Wayne Martin QC as President of the Council

– the Hon. Justice Garry Downes AM as an ex officio member of the Council

– Professor John McMillan as an ex officio member of the Council

– Ms Sue Vardon as a member of the Council

– Ms Melanie Sloss SC as a member of the Council

• the re-appointment of Professor Robin Creyke and Mr Stephen Gageler SC as members of the Council.
