CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE ACT 2008 - SECT 235

In this part:

"drug"—

        (a)     means—

              (i)     a controlled drug under the Criminal Code

, section 600; or

              (ii)     a substance prescribed by regulation; but

        (b)     does not include any of the following:

              (i)     a drug lawfully supplied, and taken as prescribed or directed, by a health practitioner;

              (ii)     a drug lawfully supplied and self-administered;

              (iii)     a drug exempted under section 236 (3).

"non-treating nurse" means a nurse authorised under section 98.

"positive test sample"—see section 236.

"test sample" means a sample of breath, saliva, urine, hair, blood, or anything else prescribed by regulation.
