CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE ACT 2008 - SECT 458

    (1)     In this division:

"protection order" means an FVO or a PVO.

"relevant Act" means—

        (a)     for an FVO—the Family Violence Act 2016

; or

        (b)     for a PVO—the Personal Violence Act 2016

.

    (2)     In this section:

"FVO "means a protection order under the Family Violence Act 2016

.

Note     A protection order means an interim or final order and includes an order about the seizure of a firearms licence, firearm or ammunition and an order amending a protection order (see Family Violence Act 2016

, dict, def "protection order").

"PVO" means a protection order under the Personal Violence Act 2016
