(1) A person commits an offence if—
(a) the person employs a child or young person; and
(b) the employment is in high risk employment; and
(c) the child or young person is under 15 years old.
Maximum penalty: 200 penalty units, imprisonment for 2 years or both.
(2) This section does not apply to the employment of a child or young person if the director-general has issued a high risk employment permit in relation to the employment of the child or young person.
