In this chapter:
"connected"—a thing is connected with an offence if—
(a) the offence has been committed in relation to it; or
(b) it will provide evidence of the commission of the offence; or
(c) it was used, is being used, or is intended to be used, to commit the offence.
"data "includes—
(a) information in any form; and
(b) a program (or part of a program).
"data storage device "means a thing containing, or designed to contain, data for use by a computer.
"offence" includes an offence that there are reasonable grounds for believing has been, is being, or will be, committed.
"person assisting", in relation to a search warrant, means a person who has been authorised by an inspector to assist in executing the warrant.
"search warrant" means a warrant issued under part 7.3 (Search warrants) that
is in force.
