Australian Capital Territory Current Acts Australian Capital Territory Current Acts(1) The responsible Minister for a relevant territory authority may, after consulting the authority, tell the authority the general government policies ( applicable governmental policies ) that are to apply to the authority.
(2) A relevant territory authority must ensure that the authority complies, as far as practicable, with the applicable governmental policies.
(3) For the Competition and Consumer Act 2010
(Cwlth), this Act authorises—
(a) the decision to apply applicable governmental policies to an authority; and
(b) the doing of, or the failure to do, anything by or in relation to the authority to comply with applicable governmental policies.
(4) A notice under subsection (1) is a notifiable instrument.
