LEGISLATION ACT 2001 - SECT 220

While the appointee is acting in the position—

        (a)     the appointee has, subject to the instrument making or evidencing the appointment, all the functions of the occupant of the position; and

        (b)     all territory laws apply in relation to the appointee as if the appointee were the occupant of the position.

Note     Function is defined in the dictionary, pt 1 to include authority, duty and power.
