NATURE CONSERVATION ACT 2014 - SECT 19

What is biodiversity?

In this Act:

"biodiversity"—

        (a)     means the variability among living organisms from all sources (including terrestrial, marine and other aquatic ecosystems and the ecological complexes of which they are part); and

        (b)     includes diversity—

              (i)     within species and between species; and

              (ii)     of ecosystems.
