Australian Capital Territory Current Acts Australian Capital Territory Current Acts(1) The director-general must appoint a public servant as the Conservator of Flora and Fauna (the conservator ).

(2) However, the director-general may appoint a person as the conservator only if satisfied that the person has suitable qualifications and experience to exercise the functions of the conservator.
(3) An appointment is a notifiable instrument.
