PAYROLL TAX ACT 2011 - SECT 56A

Wages are exempt wages if they are paid or payable to an employee in relation to any period when the employee takes part in activities under the Emergencies Act 2004

as—

        (a)     a casual volunteer; or

        (b)     an emergency services support volunteer.
