ROAD TRANSPORT (DRIVER LICENSING) REGULATION 2000 - REG 73ZY

Maintenance or inspection of interlock without approval

    (1)     A person commits an offence if the person––

        (a)     carries out maintenance on, or conducts an inspection of, a fitted interlock; and

        (b)     is not an approved interlock service provider.

Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.

    (2)     An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
