Australian Capital Territory Current Regulations Australian Capital Territory Current Regulations(1) This section applies to a police officer who is the holder of a car licence that is subject to the condition shown by the driver licence condition code A (which requires the person to drive only a motor vehicle fitted with automatic transmission).
(2) The police officer is eligible to apply to the road transport authority for the issue of a full car licence that is not subject to the condition.
Note If the road transport authority approves the application, the authority must issue the full licence (see s 36).
