ROAD TRANSPORT (ROAD RULES) REGULATION 2017 - REG 213A

    (1)     A driver commits an offence if—

        (a)     the driver parks in a metered parking area; and

        (b)     the driver's vehicle is not parked in a metered parking space.

Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.

    (2)     A driver must not park the driver's vehicle in a metered parking space if another vehicle is parked in the space.

Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.

    (3)     Subsection (2) does not apply to the rider of a motorbike if the other vehicle is also a motorbike.

    (4)     A driver who parks in a metered parking space must position the driver's vehicle completely within the space.

Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
