ARCHITECTS ACT 2004 (NO. 20 OF 2004) - SECT 57

Individual pretending to be registered

    (1)     An individual must not pretend to be registered.

Maximum penalty: 100 penalty units.

Example of pretending to be registered

using ‘architect' or ‘registered architect' on letterhead, entry sign or other advertisement

Note     An example is part of the Act, is not exhaustive and may extend, but does not limit, the meaning of the provision in which it appears (see Legislation Act, s 126 and s 132).

    (2)     Subsection (1) does not apply to the use of a term prescribed under the regulations.
