ANIMAL DISEASES ACT 2005 (NO. 18 OF 2005) - SECT 63

Definitions for pt 6

In this part:

"connected"—a thing is connected with an offence if—

        (a)     the offence has been committed in relation to it; or

        (b)     it will provide evidence of the commission of the offence; or

        (c)     it was used, is being used, or is intended to be used, to commit the offence.

"disease "means an exotic disease or an endemic disease.

"occupier", of premises, includes—

        (a)     a person believed, on reasonable grounds, to be an occupier of the premises; and

        (b)     a person apparently in charge of the premises.

"offence" includes an offence that there are reasonable grounds for believing has been, is being, or will be, committed.
