CORONERS ACT 1997 (NO. 57 OF 1997) - SECT 78

78. A custodial officer shall report a death in custody to a Coroner as soon as is reasonably practicable after becoming aware of the fact.

Penalty: 50 penalty units or imprisonment for 6 months, or both.
