12     Authorised people for infringement notice offences

    (1)     An authorised person may serve the following:

        (a)     an infringement notice for an infringement notice offence against the Security Act

;

        (b)     a reminder notice for an infringement notice offence against the Security Act

.

    (2)     In this section:

"authorised person" means—

        (a)     a police officer; or

        (b)     a person authorised by the commissioner for fair trading under the Fair Trading (Australian Consumer Law) Act 1992
