WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RESOURCE RECOVERY ACT 2016 (NO. 51 OF 2016) - SECT 72

    (1)     A person commits an offence if—

        (a)     the waste manager gives the person a direction under section 70 or section 71; and

        (b)     the person fails to comply with the direction.

Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units.

    (2)     An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
