Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts(1) The Minister may approve guidelines ( environmental flow guidelines ) for working out the flow of water that is needed to maintain aquatic ecosystems.
Note Power to make a statutory instrument (including guidelines) includes power to amend or repeal the instrument (see Legislation Act, s 46 (1)).
(2) Environmental flow guidelines approved by the Minister are a disallowable instrument.
Note A disallowable instrument must be notified, and presented to the Legislative Assembly, under the Legislation Act.
