INEBRIATES ACT, 1900 - SECT 7

Order shall authorise attendant to prevent supply of intoxicant to inebriate

    The order of a Judge or Magistrate or Master in Lunacy made under this Act shall be sufficient authority for the carrying out by any persons of any directions therein contained, and where the order is that the inebriate be placed under the care and charge of an attendant it shall authorise and direct the attendant to prevent any person from supplying the inebriate while under his or her charge with any intoxicating liquor or with any drug or instrument which may be used for the purpose of producing a state of inebriation: And any such attendant who neglects to comply with any such direction shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding 1 penalty unit.
