This legislation has been repealed.
PUBLICATIONS CONTROL ACT 1989 (REPEALED) - SECT 6
6. A person shall not possess an objectionable publication for the purpose of publishing it.
Penalty:
(a) in the case of an
objectionable child publication—$10,000 or imprisonment for 12 months,
or both;
(b) in any other
case—$5,000 or imprisonment for 6 months, or both.
