PUBLICATIONS CONTROL ACT 1989 (REPEALED) - SECT 8
8. A person shall not exhibit or display an objectionable publication in a public place, or in such a manner that it is visible to persons in or on a public place.
Penalty:
(a) in the case of an
objectionable child publication—$10,000 or imprisonment for 12 months,
or both;
(b) in any other
case—$5,000 or imprisonment for 6 months, or both.
