In this division:
"detainee" means a detainee who is serving a detention period.
"officer" means—
(a) the manager of a detention centre; or
(b) a custodial officer; or
(c) a medical practitioner, dentist, nurse, health worker, teacher or public servant who is engaged to work at a detention centre.
