PERIODIC DETENTION ACT 1995 (REPEALED) - SECT 7

A detainee shall, for the Crimes Act 1900 , part 7—

        (a)     while undertaking periodic detention at a detention centre; or

        (b)     while working or travelling outside a detention centre pursuant to an order under this Act;

be taken to be in lawful custody.
