Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1) Subject to this section, this Act does not exclude or limit the operation of any other law of the Commonwealth, or of a State or Territory.
(a) a person's act or omission is both an offence against this Act and an offence against another Act or against a law of a State or Territory; and
(b) the person is convicted of either of those offences;
the person cannot also be convicted of the other offence.
(3) If a person has been convicted of an offence in respect of
an act or omission under the law of a foreign country, the person cannot also
be convicted of an offence against this Act in respect of that act or
omission.
