NAVIGATION ACT 2012 - SECT 280

  (1)   The occupier of premises to which a warrant relates , or another person who apparently represents the occupier, must provide:

  (a)   an inspector executing the warrant; and

  (b)   any person assisting the inspector;

with all reasonable facilities and assistance for the effective exercise of their powers.

  (2)   A person co ntravenes this subsection if:

  (a)   the person is subject to subsection   ( 1); and

  (b)   the person fails to comply with that subsection.

Fault - based offence

  (3)   A person commits an offence if the person contravenes subsection   ( 2 ).

Penalty:   30 penalty units.
