Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(1 ) The r egulations may provide for :
(a) the imposition of penalties of not more than 50 penalty units for a contravention of:
( i ) a p rovision of the regulations; or
(ii ) a notice, order, direction or instruction given, issued or made under, or in force because of, the regulations; and
(b) the imposition of civil penalties for a contraventions of a kind referred to in subparagraph ( a)( i ) or (ii) of not more than:
( i ) 50 penalty units for an individual; or
(ii) 250 penalty units for a body corporate;
(c ) the manner in which notices, orders, directions, instructions or other documents under this Act may be given, issued or notified; and
(d ) the charging of fees in respect of any matters under this Act.
(2 ) Despite s ection 14 of the Legislation Act 2003 , t he r egulations may make provision in relation to a matter by applying, adopting or incorporating, with or without modification, any matter contained in an instrument or other document:
(a) as in force or existing at a particular time; or
(b) as in force or existing from time to time;
even if the instrument or other document does not exist when the regulation s come into operation.
(3 ) The r egulations may:
(a) vest an eligible court with jurisdiction in a matter or matters ari sing under the regulations; and
(b ) provide for review of decisions under the regulations.
