Commonwealth Consolidated Regulations Commonwealth Consolidated Regulations(1) This regulation applies to an approved maintenance organisation that, before becoming an approved maintenance organisation:
(a) was the holder of a certificate of approval that covered maintenance of aircraft or aircraft components; and
(i) on an aeronautical product that is an aircraft component; and
(ii) in accordance with the approved maintenance data for the component.
Note: For the definition of approved maintenance data , see subsection 2(1) of CAR.
(2) For subparagraph 42.795(c)(i), a reference to
maintenance having been carried out on the product in accordance with Part
42 is taken to include maintenance mentioned in paragraph
(1)(b).
