( a ) eligible;
(b) foreign service member ;
( c ) Permanent Forces;
( d ) Reserves.
(1) In this instrument :
"Act" means the Defence Home Ownership Assistance Scheme Act 2008 .
"day of Reserve service" : see section 12 .
"ineffective service" : see section 18 .
"service year" : see subsection ( 2) .
"transfer year" for a person means a service year in which the person transfers:
(a) from the Permanent Forces to the Reserves; or
(b) from the Reserves to the Permanent Forces.
(2) For the purposes of the definition of service year in section 3 of the Act, a service year is a financial year.
