Commonwealth Consolidated Regulations Commonwealth Consolidated Regulations(1) For the purposes of subsection 16(1) of the Act, analysis of food under the Scheme must be performed by an analyst.
(2) The analysis may be microbiological, chemical or physical analysis, or any other kind of analysis, necessary to determine whether:
(a) the food poses a risk to human health; or
(b) the food complies with the applicable standard.
Note: Paragraph 29(e) allows an authorised officer to request that certain kinds of tests be carried out on food to be analysed under the Scheme.
