AFFIRMATIVE ACTION (EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY FOR WOMEN) ACT 1986 No. 91 of 1986 - SECT 26

26. (1) The Governor-General may terminate the appointment of the Director for
misbehaviour or physical or mental incapacity.

(2) If the Director-

   (a)  becomes bankrupt, applies to take the benefit of any law for the
        relief of bankrupt or insolvent debtors, compounds with creditors or
        makes an assignment of remuneration for their benefit;

   (b)  engages, except with the approval of the Minister, in paid employment
        outside the duties of the office of Director;

   (c)  is absent from duty, except on leave of absence granted by the
        Minister, for 14 consecutive days or 28 days in any 12 months; or

   (d)  without reasonable excuse, contravenes section 27, the
        Governor-General shall terminate the appointment of the Director.
