AUSTRALIA COUNCIL AMENDMENT ACT 1980 No. 114 of 1980 - SECT 13

13. Section 20 of the Principal Act is amended by adding at the end thereof
the following sub-sections:



"(2) The Minister may, by notice published in the Gazette, revoke the notice
under sub-section (1) by which a Board was established.



"(3) A notice under sub-section (2) shall take effect on a date specified in
the notice, not being a date earlier than the date of publication of the
notice.



"(4) Where a notice under sub-section (2) is published in the Gazette, then,
on the day on which the notice takes effect-

   (a)  the Board to which the notice relates ceases to exist; and

   (b)  the members of the Board cease to hold office as such members.".
