ABORIGINAL LAND RIGHTS (NORTHERN TERRITORY) ACT 1976 No. 191 of 1976 - SECT 72

Aboriginal land to continue to be reserve under Northern Territory law.
72. (1) Where land constituting, or forming part of, an Aboriginal reserve is
vested in a Land Trust under this Act, that vesting does not, except as
otherwise provided by the regulations, affect the status of that land as such
Aboriginal reserve.
(2) In this section, ''Aboriginal reserve'' means-

   (a)  land that is a reserve within the meaning of the Social Welfare
        Ordinance 1964 of the Northern Territory, as amended from time to
        time; or

   (b)  any other land that is a reserve for the purposes of a prescribed law
        of the Northern Territory.
