Australian Meat and Live-stock Corporation Amendment Act 1984 No. 57 of 1984 - SECT 6

6. (1) Section 9 of the Principal Act is amended-

(a) by omitting from sub-section (1) ''owned by the Corporation'' (wherever
occurring); and

   (b)  by omitting sub-sections (2), (3) and (4).

(2) Notwithstanding the amendment of section 9 of the Principal Act effected
by paragraph 6 (1) (b) of this Act, that section shall continue in force, for
the purposes of the Principal Act as amended by this Act, until the day on
which the first corporate plan to be approved by the Minister under section
30P of the Principal Act as so amended comes into force, as if that amendment
had not been made.
