Australian Meat and Live-stock Corporation Amendment Act 1984 No. 57 of 1984 - SECT 7

7. After section 9 of the Principal Act the following section is inserted:
Corporation may consult industry representatives

''10. (1) Without limiting the generality of section 8, the Corporation may,
for the purpose of considering any matter relating to the performance of its
functions, make arrangements for consulting persons and bodies representative
of different sectors of the industry.

''(2) Arrangements entered into by the Corporation under sub-section (1) in
relation to the Corporation's consulting with a person or body may include the
Corporation's agreeing to meet the costs and expenses reasonably incurred by
that person or body in connection with that consultation.''.
