CORPORATIONS ACT 1989 No. 109 of 1989 - SECT 757

757. In this Chapter, unless the contrary intention appears, a reference
(other than a reference to the service or receipt of a Part A statement or to
the making of a takeover announcement) to an act or thing having been done or
to an event having occurred includes a reference to such an act or thing
having been done or to such an event having occurred, as the case may be,
before the commencement of this Chapter.
