Commonwealth Electoral Legislation Amendment Act 1983 No. 144 of 1983 - SECT 134

134. Section 189 of the Principal Act is amended by adding at the end thereof
the following sub-section:

''(4) The power of the Court of Disputed Returns under paragraph (1) (viii) to
award costs includes the power to order costs to be paid by the Commonwealth
where the Court considers it appropriate to do so.''.
