ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION AND BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION ACT 1999 - SECT 218
Contravening conditions of a permit
The holder of a permit is guilty of an offence punishable on conviction by a
fine not exceeding 300 penalty units if:
- (a)
- he or she does, or fails to do, an act or thing; and
- (b)
- doing, or failing to do, the act or thing results in a contravention of a
condition of the permit.
- Note: Chapter 2 of the Criminal Code sets out the general principles of
criminal responsibility.
