ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION AND BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION ACT 1999 - SECT 266A
Register for consultation about permit applications
- (1)
- At intervals of not more than 12 months, the Minister must cause to be
published a notice inviting applications from persons or bodies wishing to be
registered for a specified period of at least 12 months to be told of each
application for a permit under Division 1, 2, 3 or 4. The notice must be
published:
- (a)
- in the Gazette ; and
- (b)
- in a daily newspaper that circulates generally in each State and
self-governing Territory; and
- (c)
- in any other way required by the regulations (if any).
- (2)
- The Minister must register any person or body that applies in writing for
registration.
- (3)
- Registration has effect for the period specified in the notice.
