FIRST HOME OWNERS AMENDMENT ACT 1985No. 23, 1985 - SECT 10

10. Section 34 of the Principal Act is repealed and the following section is
substituted: Money out of which assistance is payable

"34. (1) Subject to sub-section (2), assistance payable after the commencement
of this section and before 1 July 1985 is payable out of the Consolidated
Revenue Fund, which is appropriated accordingly.

"(2) Assistance payable under sub-section (1) shall not exceed, in the
aggregate, an amount that, together with the total amount of assistance paid
on and after 1 July 1984 and before the commencement of this section, is equal
to $290,000,000.

"(3) Assistance payable after 30 June 1985 is payable out of money
appropriated by the Parliament for the purpose.".
