Freedom of Information Amendment Act 1983 No. 81 of 1983 - SECT 4

4. Section 7 of the Principal Act is amended by inserting after sub-section
(2) the following sub-section:

''(2A) An agency is exempt from the operation of this Act in relation to a
document that has originated with, or has been received from, the Australian
Secret Intelligence Service, the Australian Security Intelligence Organization
or the Office of National Assessments, or the Defence Signals Directorate or
the Joint Intelligence Organization of the Department of Defence.''.
