Health Acts Amendment Act 1981 No. 118 of 1981 - SECT 94

94. (1) Section 27 of the Principal Act is repealed and the following section
substituted: Delegation

''27. (1) The Minister or the Director-General may, either generally or as
otherwise provided by the instrument of delegation, by writing signed by him,
delegate to a person any of his powers under this Act, other than this power
of delegation.

''(2) A power so delegated, when exercised by the delegate, shall, for the
purposes of this Act, be deemed to have been exercised by the Minister or the
Director-General, as the case may be.

''(3) A delegation under this section does not prevent the exercise of a power
by the Minister or the Director-General, as the case may be.''.

(2) An instrument of delegation in force under section 27 of the Principal Act
immediately before the commencement of this section shall, after the
commencement of this section, have effect as if it were an instrument of
delegation under section 27 of the Principal Act as amended by this Act.
