HEALTH LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1986 No. 75 of 1986 - SECT 53

53. (1) The Principal Act is amended as set out in Schedule 2.

(2) A person who, immediately before the commencement of this section, held
office as the Chairman of a Committee established under Division 1, 2 or 3 of
Part V of the Principal Act, or as the Deputy Chairman of a Committee
established under Division 2 or 3 of Part V of the Principal Act, shall,
subject to the Principal Act as amended and in force after that commencement,
continue to hold office after that commencement as the Chairperson or Deputy
Chairperson, as the case may be, of the Committee.
