HEALTH LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT (NO. 2) 1982 NO. 112 OF 1982 - SECT 6

6. (1) Section 5B of the Principal Act is amended by omitting sub-paragraph
(a) (i) of the definition of ''allowable income'' in sub-section (12) and
substituting the following sub-paragraph:

''(i) the amount of the weekly rate of income that would, as at the last day
of that period, be sufficient, but no more than sufficient, to prevent a
married person with no children from receiving any unemployment benefit;''.

(2) Section 5B of the Principal Act is amended by omitting ''or funeral
benefit'' from paragraph (a) of the definition of ''income'' in sub-section
(12) and substituting '', funeral benefit or mobility allowance''.

(3) Section 5B of the Principal Act is amended by omitting ''or mobility
allowance'' from paragraph (a) of the definition of ''income'' in sub-section
(12) and substituting '', mobility allowance or family income supplement''.
