HANDICAPPED PERSONS ASSISTANCE ACT 1974 No. 134 of 1974 - SECT 22

PART VII-HANDICAPPED CHILDREN'S BENEFIT
22. In this Part, unless the contrary intention appears-



"benefit" means handicapped children's benefit payable under this Part;



"handicapped child" means a person who-

   (a)  is suffering from a physical or mental disability; and

   (b)  has not attained the age of 16 years;



"medical practitioner" means a person registered or licensed as a medical
practitioner under a law of a State or Territory that provides for the
registration or licensing of medical practitioners;



"month" means a month of the year.
