PART X - PUBLIC INQUIRIES

54. In this Part-

         ''adviser'' means a person appointed under sub-section 55 (5) to
advise a Commissioner;

         ''inquiry'' means an inquiry conducted in pursuance of a direction
under sub-section 55 (1);

         ''prescribed officer'' means an adviser or a Commissioner.
