REFERENDUM (MACHINERY PROVISIONS) ACT 1984 No. 44, 1984 - SECT 115

115. (1) The Electoral Commission shall cause to be kept, at the principal
office of the Electoral Commission in Canberra, in the capital city of each
State and in Darwin a copy of each return furnished to the Electoral
Commission under this Part.

(2) A person is entitled, without charge, to peruse a copy of a return
referred to in sub-section (1) that is kept at an office of the Electoral
Commission in accordance with that sub-section.

(3) A person is entitled, on payment of a fee determined by the Electoral
Commission to cover the cost of copying, to obtain a copy of a return referred
to in sub-section (1) that is kept at an office of the Electoral Commission in
accordance with that sub-section.
