SUGAR CANE LEVY COLLECTION ACT 1987 No. 26, 1987 - SECT 3

3. (1) In this Act, unless the contrary intention appears:

"appoint" includes re-appoint;

"authorised person" means a person who is, by virtue of an appointment under
section 13, an authorised person for the purposes of the provision in which
the expression occurs.

(2) Except so far as the contrary intention appears, an expression used in
this Act and in the Sugar Cane Levy Act 1987 has the same meaning in this Act
as in that Act.
