STATES GRANTS (UNIVERSITIES ASSISTANCE) ACT 1976 No. 129, 1976 - SECT 15

15. The Minister and the Treasurer may make arrangements for the making by the
Treasurer to a State, by way of financial assistance to the State, of advances
on account of an amount that is expected to become payable under section 8 to
the State, and the conditions that would be applicable to a payment of the
amount under that section are applicable to any such advance.
